The team here at Heathcote Pharmacy are always open to listening to complaints, comments and suggestions received from our patients accessing all of our pharmacy services. However, if you feel that you would like to speak with someone in more detail, then please contact us and ask to speak with the Superintendent Pharmacist, Davinder Singh Athwal.
Alternatively, we also operate a complaints procedure as part of the NHS system of dealing with complaints. Our system meets national criteria and our superintendent pharmacist can be approached to provide further information.
The NHS has its own complaints procedure, which can be accessed via the NHS Choices webpage.
Such concerns can also be raised by getting in touch with regulatory bodies, such as the Care Quality Commission, if we cannot resolve the issue.
You may seek advice from your local Patient Advice and Liaison Services (PALS). They are not part of the complaints procedure itself but they might be able to resolve your concerns informally, or they can tell you more about the complaints procedure and independent complaints advocacy services.
The local PALS office can be found at Warwick Hospital on Lakin road They can be contacted by calling 01926 600054.
If you need advice and support in making your complaint, please contact the Independent Complaints Advocacy Services, who can offer assistance to people who want to complain about the NHS. They can be contacted by calling 01273 229 002 or emailing ICAS directly at info@bh-icas.org
